periods of time in the wilderness you will want to make your camp like
home, this can be achieved using the skill of Campcraft”
Using just a knife, saw and natural
recourses, you will learn how to make tools, gadgets and structures that
will make any campsite a home from home. We shall also teach you
rope-craft and how to safely use and maintain your cutting tools.

Axe
Workshop
“You don’t need the
build of Desperate Dan to wield an axe with confidence and precision”
The axe is a very underestimated tool. In the wrong hands it can be very
hazardous, but in the hands of a trained person it becomes a very
versatile tool.
There’s a lot to be learnt about the axe, so this course is full-on.
Some of the subjects you will learn how to safely use the axe for
many purposes. We shall also teach you how to sharpen and care for the
tool as well as what to look for in a good quality axe.
At the end
of the course you will have a high quality axe to take home with you.
