FAQ's What make's Bushcraft Ventures different from other school's? Our instructors are not only vastly experienced in Bushcraft & Wilderness Survival but also in teaching and instructing. We feel that this is vital to ensure that our students obtain the best quality instruction. Our head instructor has taught a large majority of the instructors in the UK. Where are the courses run ? Most of our courses are run in the beautiful area of Deeside within the Cairngorms in the North East of Scotland, this area is ideal for Bushcraft due to its wide range of natural environments and is also close to air, rail & road routes. We can also run courses throughout the UK and the world. For reasons of security, we shall give you exact joining instructions 2 weeks before the course. Who runs the courses ? The courses are lead by our head instructor Lawrence Clark, however to run a courses requires a team of dedicated and experienced staff, which Bushcraft Ventures has. Do I need to be fit ? Some of our courses are intensive, so a reasonable level of fitness is required, if you are unsure of your fitness please consult a doctor. We shall always help and encourage you, but will never force a student to participate in activity they are not comfortable with. What kit will I need ? We shall provide you with a full kit list. This is normal camping equipment, if you are short any items we are able to loan some and / or provide lists of specialist outlets. How can I book a course ? To book a course, simply go to our Booking page and print of your booking form, then send the form to the address along with the deposit or payment.
