The axe is an underestimated tool and in untrained hands it can be very hazardous. But with the correct tuition and guidance the axe can be used safely and accurately.

During this specially designed Axe workshop course you will learn a range of precision techniques for carving, splitting, chopping, felling and de-limbing. You will also learn how to select, prepare, maintain and hone your axe, to a razor sharp finish, using man- made and natural materials

At the end of the course you will have several carved items and a high quality axe to take home with you.

“Outside of fire, little else can contribute more to living comfortably in the wilderness than knowing how to use properly a well chosen axe”
