BUSHCRAFT VENTURES Limited (“Bushcraft Ventures”) TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions are subject to variation.
Payment
The price, less the deposit as set out in the booking form, must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks prior to the course start date. Bookings made within 4 weeks of the course start date must be accompanied by payment in full, unless otherwise agreed by Bushcraft Ventures. Bushcraft Ventures reserves the right to alter prices should the costs of hosting a course increase for any reason outwith the control of Bushcraft Ventures.

Cancellation
If the booking is cancelled for any reason the following charges will apply:
1.1 Cancellation more than 4 weeks before the course start date, 90% of funds paid will be reimbursed.
1.2 Where participant(s) cancel less than 4 weeks before the course start date, the entire deposit will be forfeited unless otherwise agreed. In the event of a price increase for any reason outwith the control of Bushcraft Ventures, participant(s) may opt to cancel the booking by notice to this effect and in such a case will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid.
Bushcraft Ventures reserves the right to cancel all and any bookings without reason or notice. In this unlikely event, all monies will be repaid in full to participant(s).

Variation of the Course
Bushcraft Ventures reserves the right (acting reasonably) to vary the content of the course. Participant(s) acknowledges that it is reasonable for Bushcraft Ventures to change at it’s discretion the schedule, dates and/or the location of the course in the event of poor weather and that Bushcraft Ventures will not be liable for any losses as a result of changes to the course.

Participant(s) Conduct
Participant(s) agree to abide by all rules and regulations imposed by Bushcraft Ventures to minimise risk to both Health and Safety. Specific rules will be explained to the participant(s) at the start of all courses. Participant(s) must maintain standards of conduct which are consistent with the aims of the course. Participant(s) whose behaviour is deemed unsafe or unacceptable for whatever reason may be removed from the course by Bushcraft Ventures at their discretion. In such circumstances, participant(s) will not be entitled to refund of any of the monies paid. Bushcraft Ventures will be entitled to recover any reasonable costs incurred arising from the removal of any participant(s).

Admissions
For the health and safety of the participant(s), all participants must be able to communicate fluently in English. Bushcraft Ventures reserves the right to remove a participant if they deem that there is a problem of communicating effectively and that this is a causing a danger to the participant and others on the course.

Risk & Participation
Bushcraft Ventures will endeavour to take all reasonable precautions for the safety of participants but participants acknowledge that participation in courses involves an element of risk. Save where negligence can be established on the part of Bushcraft Ventures, participants take part in courses at their own risk.

The courses run by Bushcraft Ventures demand a reasonable level of physical fitness. Each participant certifies that he or she is physically capable of participating in the courses run by Bushcraft Ventures.

Insurance
Bushcraft Ventures has public liability insurance cover to a level of £5,000,000 which shall be the limit of Bushcraft Ventures liability.

Complaints
In the event that participant(s) have cause for complaint, participant(s) shall bring this to the attention of one of the Bushcraft Ventures instructors as soon as possible. Complaints not resolved during a course should be made in writing following completion of the course.

Damages and loss of Equipment
Bushcraft Ventures reserve the right to charge participant(s) for the cost of replacement or repair of items of equipment lost or damaged in the course.

Subsequent Instruction by Participant(s)
Participation on Bushcraft Ventures course does not qualify participant(s) to subsequently conduct training courses of a similar nature.
