Where are the courses run ?
Most of our courses are run in the beautiful area of Deeside within the Cairngorms National Park, in the North East of Scotland. This area is ideal for Bushcraft due to its wide range of natural environments and is also close to air, rail & road routes. We can also run courses throughout the UK and the world.
For reasons of security, we shall give you exact joining instructions 2 weeks before the course.
Who runs the courses ?
The courses are lead by our head instructor Lawrence Clark, however to run a course requires a team of dedicated and experienced staff, which Bushcraft Ventures has.
Do I need to be fit ?
Some of our courses are intensive, so a reasonable level of fitness is required, if you are unsure of your fitness, please consult a doctor. We shall always help and encourage you, but will never force a student to participate in activity they are not comfortable with.
What kit will I need ?
We shall provide you with a full kit list. This is normal camping equipment, if you are short any items we are able to lone some and / or provide lists of specialist outlets.
How can I book a course ?
To book a course, simply go to our Booking page and print of your booking form, then send the form to the address along with the deposit or payment. We advise that you email us with your intention to book a course, this avoids disappointment if the course becomes full. info@bushcraftventures.co.uk
