Root Skills Modules
|
The Root Skills Modules are exactly the
same as our Root Skills course, but are run over 3 weekends. This makes
these courses ideal for those people who have a busy life-style.
You can chose which modules you want to
attend (you can attend 1, 2 or all 3 modules) and you can decide in which
order.
Each of our module courses
starts on Friday evening. After setting-up your camp, you will start
learning some new skills before being able to relax around the
campfire and prepare yourselves for a busy and enjoyable weekend.

The Root Skills Modules course
will introduce you to many of the fundamental skills you will need as
you tread the bushcraft trail. These skills will allow you to enjoy your time in the
wilderness environment with a minimal amount of equipment. Under the
expert guidance and supervision of our instructors, you will gain
knowledge and practical skills that will give you the confidence to delve
deeper into this fascinating subject. Throughout each of the modules you
will practice these skills and apply acquired knowledge.
Module 1
This module will take you through the
skills to get you started including shelters, fire-lighting and
fire-lays, tree identification and outback cooking among many other
subjects.
Module 2

courses, will take your skills from the first course a bit further, again
we shall cover fire-lighting ( fire by friction ) and fire-lays but will
