Being part of a team or a team leader can sometimes feel like being lost on the trail in the wilderness. At Bushcraft Ventures Ltd we shall be your guide and help you or your team get back on the right track. This is suitable for all levels of staff including senior management and executive levels.

Having lead expeditions and team training courses within the Oil, Gas and Aerospace sectors we know that excellent team-work and leadership skills are vital to running a successful, profitable and efficient business.

Bushcraft is a new and exciting concept that is different from the ‘old routine’. It is an excellent means of building interpersonal and leadership skills and through our unique and innovative training we shall pass on the skills to provide you or your team with a new lease of life with an increased level of confidence and belief. An added bonus is that your team will also learn interesting bushcraft skills and knowledge during a fun and memorable event.

We have 3 types of courses (see below) for team-building and leadership training., We can also arrange a bespoke course to meet your requirements.

Team-building & Leadership training

Fire is the most important tool in bushcraft and without it life would not be possible.

The group will learn that there is more than one way to light a fire, just as there are many tools to do the same job. But which one is the easiest and is it appropriate to the local environment?

This ½ - 1 day course, will develop team, communication and organisational skills helping the individual to find solutions to challenging problems in the workplace.

During a challenging 1 or more days your ‘Tracking Teams’ will need to use all of their wit’s and observational skills in order to track one another in small teams.

Your team is stranded in the wilderness and need to fend for themselves for 1 or more days. But help is on hand from one the most experienced bushcraft & survival instructors in UK. However, advice ‘’doesn’t come for free’’ in deepest darkest Scotland and money is of no use in the wilderness!

In the wilderness each individual will need to work as part of a team in order to make themselves comfortable within natures surroundings. In addition, they will need to find solutions to obstacles and challenges that nature inevitably puts in their way.

Your team of intrepid adventurers will need to be organised and innovative in order to make fire and shelter, find water and food. Don’t worry, no worms or insects will be eaten!

Not only will each team be competing against one another they will also need to find clues along the way, in order to a final destination and goal.

This course requires a high level of planning, team-work and honesty, which are just some of the qualities of a good tracker.

We can arrange transportation to the activity site, food, accommodation and other activities.
